Bright Colors, Trolls and Cake!!

It's always fun when I get to use bright colors. This card was made with a specific child in mind. This soon to be 9 year old seems to have taken a special liking to me, so I am hoping this will help brighten her day.  This card was made with stamps sets from Kindred Stamps, The Alley Way and Taylored Expressions.

An "Old Bird" and Her Coffee.

My mother loves to watch the birds as she drinks her coffee each morning. Of course she looks nothing like the "Old Bird" in this image, yet it reminds me of her.  I imagine her each morning walking around coffee in hand, checking her birds feeders and pulling a random weeds from the flower bed.  There were two stamps used on this card front. "Old Bird" by Unity Stamp Co. and a wooded background stamp. The background stamp was purchased a few years back before I realized the importance of keeping record of where it was purchased or who designed it. It's been colored over a couple days and I failed to keep track of the variety of distress oxide inks and Copic markers this time around as  I wasn't initially planning to post it on here to share.

LGBTQ+ Pride Month

June is LGBTQ+ Pride Month #pinkfreshstudio #pinkfreshchallenge #sugarpeadesigns  #MyFavoriteThings I just received the Pink Fresh Studio Color Block Rainbow Die this week and couldn't wait to use it. I received it in perfect time for Pride month too! I love my LGBTQ+ friends and family. This year's celebrations may be a bit different than years past but the PRIDE is still there, get creative and make it happen. I paired the Color Block Rainbow Die with Sugar Pea Designs Kindness Word Die and My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil.
